Me and my spouse stay here every year with their grandma. She lives there and has for years. We love the place it's peaceful and very friendly place to be. We stay their for a week every year. For our vacation every time we go to Texas. We enjoy late night swimming and watching a beautiful sunset when we are out there. So if you are looking for a peaceful resort to stay at. Just make sure you make Tropic Star RV Resort the number 1 place.

Not a bad place. Quiet, secure. Did have problems hooking up. 1st electric pedistal was no operative. Water leaked from the 1st spigot and the next one had no handle. 3rd worked like a charm.

Nice and BIG! Clean. Friendly as heck. Countless folks briefly either stopped by to say hello or waved and said hello and they were scooting by on their golf carts. Pool was pretty near pristine. Some friendly folks were playing volleyball, in the pool. We were only there for a short stay but would definitely do so again. The first rain storm since November, one of the other folks staying there said, happened to come while we’re there and I delayed leaving given the storm would’ve made driving extra tiring. Next morning a staff maintenance guy was literally taking/sweeping the road to clean up debris. Great water pressure. Great 50 amp power. We just came from Mexico and had terrible water pressure and legendary Mexican electricity service so it was refreshing to have the good stuff! Located right on middle of excellent shopping food and otherwise. Will stay again when passing through.

One of the best RV parks in the Rio Grande Valley! Has the best activities and people! Was not sure which park to choose but feel we made the best choice. Does not sit close to a freeway . Is addressed to a main road so close to lots of things. But sits way back and very private! Beautiful Resort style pool and hot tubs and so many activities it is hard to choose!

The park has a lot of residents full/part time who always make everyone feel welcomed. Park managers have an open door policy, they trying to maintain the grounds and amenities. Staff is friendly and willing to help out.
